T-Bomb II Review

Jake

By: Jake

There are many reasons you may want to increase testosterone levels, but Maximum Human Performance says T-Bomb II is the answer to all of them.

A new product from Maximum Human Performance, T-Bomb II is said to boost testosterone production, as well as optimize testosterone utilization. T-Bomb II is also advertised to lower estrogen production. This should increase not only testosterone, but free testosterone.

These are pretty standard claims for a T-booster, so I wanted to see if there was anything that makes T-Bomb II stand out.

Who Makes T-Bomb II?

T-Bomb II is manufactured and sold by Maximum Human Performance (MHP), a New Jersey-based supplement company. MHP has been around since 1997 when it was founded by bodybuilder Gerard Dente.

Today, the company is run both by Dente and Lisa Passaretti, who manages the office. The company is a small one, employing just 23 staff members.
However, it’s been successful. According to Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp, MHP earns $3.1 million in revenue each year.

The MHP website, MHPStrong.com, offers several phone numbers, email address, and physical addresses you can use to get in touch with the company. This is a reassuring sign that MHP is professional and trustworthy.

MHP doesn’t have a Better Business Bureau profile, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Not all businesses are registered with the BBB.
Overall, MHP seems like a decent company to do business with.

What Ingredients Are in T-Bomb II?

To boost circulating testosterone levels, MHP uses 3 solo ingredients and a 903 mg proprietary blend. The proprietary blend includes more than 20 ingredients formulated to “optimize hormone levels.”

You can find the full list on GNC.com or BodyBuilding.com, but for now I’ll highlight the ingredients that stood out to me.

Zinc

Zinc is an essential mineral that prevents testosterone from being converted to estrogen. This increases free testosterone levels in the body, which means circulating testosterone will go where it’s needed instead of being bound to other hormones.

Tribulus Terrestris

An herbal extract commonly included in testosterone boosters, tribulus terrestris increases testosterone production and enhances libido. Anecdotal evidence supports these benefits in humans, but they were first tested and proven in rats [1].

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is another popular ingredient in T-boosters because it treats erectile dysfunction. However, it does nothing to raise testosterone levels. In a 2009 study, participants taking fenugreek saw no improvement in their T-production [2]. There was also no difference in the hormonal profiles of participants taking fenugreek and those in a control group. Some even suggest fenugreek increases estrogen production, which could compromise testosterone’s benefits.

Saw Palmetto

This herbal extract is often used to decrease symptoms of an enlarged prostate. It works by shrinking the inner lining of the prostate that puts pressure on the urinary tract. Saw palmetto is also said to increase testosterone uptake and levels of free testosterone in the body.

L-Arginine

An amino acid, l-arginine is considered one of the “building blocks of protein,” which helps build muscle. However, arginine’s real function in T-Bomb II is to increase nitric oxide production [3]. Nitric oxide expands blood vessels, which improves circulation and ensures your increased T-levels will travel where they’re needed.

With the exception of fenugreek, these ingredients are a good mix for both boosting T-production and mimicking testosterone’s effects. However, I don’t like that it’s included in a proprietary blend.

Proprietary blends hide exact ingredient quantity information, which makes it difficult to judge effectiveness. Some ingredients are only effective in certain amounts, while others can cause side effects if the dosage is too high. It’s impossible to tell if T-Bomb II falls into either category without more information on ingredient amounts.

The T-Bomb II proprietary blend is large, but with 22 ingredients, it may still struggle to include each ingredient in its recommended dose.

Can T-Bomb II Cause Side Effects?

Higher testosterone levels come with great benefits, but they can also cause side effects. This is especially true in younger men.

Due to increased testosterone levels, T-Bomb II may cause:

• Acne
• Hair loss
• Mood swings
• Impatience
• Defensiveness
• Anger
• Swollen prostates
• Gynecomastia

Chances are that T-Bomb II won’t be strong enough to cause most of these side effects, but they are a possibility. This is especially true if you use T-Bomb II over a long period of time.

To avoid these side effects, eat a balanced diet and use T-Bomb II only as directed.

How Much Does T-Bomb II Cost?

T-Bomb II retails for the sky-high price of $79.99. Thankfully, availability for this product is fairly wide and the price has come down somewhat.
You can find T-Bomb II for $59.99 per bottle on GNC.com or $39.98 on BodyBuilding.com. Each bottle lasts 2 months, so you’re getting a pretty good deal there.

Depending on the retailer, a money-back guarantee may be available. GNC typically offers a 30-day guarantee, for example. Check with customer service to be sure.

Should You Try T-Bomb II?

T-Bomb II seems like a pretty decent product, but I would like to know more about ingredient quantity before I give it my recommendation. If you can take away some of the risk by finding a retailer that offers a guarantee, T-Bomb II may be worth a try.
