Purus Labs Recycle Review
Purus Labs claims Recycle is the most advanced testosterone supplement in the industry. It’s supposed to increase free and total testosterone. And Purus Labs Recycle should block substances that break down testosterone.
So, is Purus Labs Recycle worth a try? Before answering this question, I wanted to see if the company’s claims are true. Does Purus Labs Recycle really have an advanced formula?
What’s in the Formula?
Purus Labs Recycle has 3 ingredient blends, but surprisingly, they are not proprietary. Consumers are shown every ingredient and dosage used in the supplement. This full disclosure doesn’t happen very often.
HPTA Upregulation/SHBG Inhibition
The Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal Axis (HPTA) produces hormones such as estrogen and testosterone. Sex hormone binding globulins (SHBG) bind to testosterone and make it useless. The following ingredients are meant to enhance testosterone production and block SHBG.
Tribulus Alatus (500 mg) – This herb is related to the renowned tribulus terrestris. Tribulus alatus was proven to increase testosterone levels and sexual desire. In another study, researchers discovered tribulus alatus contains powerful antioxidants.
Epimedium (250 mg) – Also known as horny goat weed, it boosts libido and increases blood flow. The icariins in epimedium are what increase blood flow. First, they produce nitric oxide. Second, nitric oxide relaxes and widens blood vessels, which allows more blood to pass through. Increased blood flow improves erections and nutrient delivery.
Stinging Nettle (200 mg) – Extracts from stinging nettle are very attracted to SHBG. They bind to SHBG and prevent it from binding testosterone. Stinging nettle also reduces pain and inflammation.
Aromatase Inhibition/Estrogen Modulation/DHT Block
Aromatase, estrogen, and DHT diminish testosterone levels. This blend is designed to prevent that.
Bladderwrack (350 mg) – A clinical study proved bladderwrack decreases estrogen levels. In addition, it contains substances that counter aromatase. Bladderwrack lowers cholesterol and boosts thyroid function by providing more iodine.
White Button Mushroom (300 mg) – Aromatase converts testosterone into estrogen. However, one study showed white button mushroom inhibits aromatase and decreases estrogen production. It is effective for maintaining high testosterone levels.
Unless ingredients are absorbed properly, the body can’t utilize them. These ingredients should enhance nutrient absorption and digestion to make Purus Labs Recycle more effective.
Quercetin Anhydrous (60 mg) – Everything I read about quercetin anhydrous referred to its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals, which prevents them from damaging cells and organs. But nothing was said about quercetin anhydrous improving absorption.
Black Pepper (1.5 mg) – This ingredient does improve absorption. In fact, the patented version was clinically proven to dramatically increase nutrient delivery and digestion. Purus Labs Recycle doesn’t contain the patented ingredient, but black pepper extract is also effective.
Are Recommended Dosages Used?
The recommended dosages are key to making Purus Labs Recycle safe and effective. So, what does it have?
Tribulus alatus was not tested on humans, so researchers haven’t recommended a dosage. But 500 mg is the most common dosage.
Like tribulus alatus, epimedium was not tested in human studies. However, most testosterone supplements use between 250 and 500 mg.
During the bladderwrack study, people took up to 700 mg a day. Quercetin anhydrous is safe in dosages up to 500 mg.
Black pepper extract was proven effective when 5 mg dosages were taken daily. I don’t know what the recommended dosages are for stinging nettle and white button mushroom.
Purus Labs Recycle contains recommended dosages for all but 3 ingredients: black pepper, stinging nettle, and white button mushroom. It might provide the right stinging nettle and white button mushroom dosages. But the company doesn’t show their research and I couldn’t find research on the correct dosages.
One serving is 4 capsules a day. Purus Labs suggests taking 1 serving a day with a large glass of water. However, you could take 2 servings a day for more powerful results. Since Purus Labs Recycle is powerful, I don’t recommend everyone takes 2 servings a day. Most users should get results with just 1.
If you experience negative side effects, stop using Purus Labs Recycle.
Just taking Purus Labs Recycle should increase testosterone. However, you must combine the testosterone supplement with exercise to build muscle and burn fat. In addition, weight lifting further increases testosterone production.
Purus Labs Recycle is only for men over age 18.
How Much Does It Cost?
When you buy from the official website, Purus Labs Recycle costs $64.95. This price gets you a bottle with 100 capsules. I scouted around and found retailers who offer lower prices:
• eSupplements.com: $37.99
• Drugstore.com: $39.99
• VitaminShoppe.com: $41.99
Products ship within 1 business day on eSupplements.com and shipping costs $4.95.
Drugstore.com has a return policy; but it only applies to unopened, unused products.
The Vitamin Shoppe has store locations where Purus Labs Recycle may be sold. Shipping is free on orders over $25.
My research didn’t convince me Purus Labs Recycle is the most advanced testosterone supplement. However, the product does contain several powerful, proven ingredients. These should increase testosterone, inhibit aromatase, and decrease estrogen.
All the ingredients in Purus Labs Recycle are considered safe. Most included dosages were proven to be safe and effective.
Purus Labs Recycle is an affordable testosterone supplement. And it contains effective ingredients. It may not be the best supplement, but Purus Labs Recycle is worth trying.
