Magnum Instincts Review
Magnum Instincts is a personal performance product that increases confidence, desire, and sexual health. Or so the advertisements say.
You can use Magnum Instincts for two purposes:
• For a night of increased sexual pleasure
• For a testosterone and sexual vigor increase over a period of ten days
Does Magnum Instincts really increase testosterone levels as well as sexual performance? Let’s take a closer look.
Magnum Instincts Ingredients
First, let’s take a look at Magnum Instincts’ ingredients to see how this product stacks up.
Carnosyn Beta Alanine (170 mg). Carnosyn is a licensed form of beta-alanine, with claims that it results in greater working capacity, enhanced endurance, and delayed fatigue. Beta alanine is a precursor to carnosine, a substance found in muscles and touted to improve athletic performance. Magnum Instincts has a much lower dose than that typically used in studies, but fortunately, this reduces risk of paraesthesia, or a burning and tingling skin sensation.
Cordyceps Sinensis (150 mg). This fungus is being studied for its effect on exercise endurance. It may also improve immunity against disease and function as an aphrodisiac, and is therefore heralded to have anti-aging benefits.
Water Extracted Epimedium (140 mg). Epimedium is shown to treat erectile dysfunction, perhaps even better than prescription drugs. Research revealed it improved erectile function in aged rats. Additional studies are needed, however, and epimedium may cause upset stomach and dry mouth.
Maca Powder Extract (100 mg). Small-scale clinical trials say that maca improves semen quality and boosts libido. It may also improve energy, mood, sexual desire, and even sperm production. However, it does not appear to raise testosterone.
L-Citrulline Malate (100 mg). This organic compound enhances athletic performance by promoting aerobic energy production and reducing muscle fatigue. It promoted aerobic energy production and reduced fatigue in a study with eighteen men.
Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry; 75 mg). Goji berry protects against bacteria and cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases. While it comes with plenty of health benefits, it isn’t the miracle super-food many manufacturers claim it to be.
L-Lysine (50 mg). An amino acid that plays a role in building muscle protein, lysine is also involved in hormone production. Though it’s widely marketed as being able to raise testosterone, the claims are not yet backed by scientific research. Lysine could cause nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea.
Zinc Monomethionine (15 mg). Also known as ZMA, this is a combination of zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6. It’s marketed as a way to enhance athletic performance, but studies show otherwise. In fact, it is not shown to raise testosterone levels. Nevertheless, it could improve overall health; zinc in particular boosts the immune system and may treat prostate enlargement.
These ingredients may improve athletic and sexual performance as well as overall health, which could naturally raise testosterone levels. But the ingredients won’t likely raise testosterone by themselves.
Taking Magnum Instincts
How you take Magnum Instincts depends on which function you’re taking it for.
1. To improve one instance of sexual pleasure, take 2 capsules with a warm glass of water 40 minutes prior to sexual activity.
2. To increase testosterone and sexual vigor, take 2 capsules 40 minutes prior to sleep for a period of ten days.
Magnum Instincts Prices
Magnum Instincts is available in two different packs: a two pack for one-time use and a ten-pack for longer use. It’s available for the following prices at HardMagnum.com:
• Two pack: $14.99
• Ten pack: $59.99
You can also buy it at BodyBuilding.com for the following prices:
• Two pack: $12.99
• Ten pack: $49.99
This is quite pricey for a supplement that won’t even last two weeks. In fact, you would have to buy two packs of ten capsules to take the recommended amount for ten days.
Magnum Instincts: The Bottom Line
Magnum Instincts is a promising new product with a solid formula. But I wouldn’t get too excited yet; it’s extremely pricey, and hasn’t yet been backed by customer reviews. We don’t even know if it raises testosterone. Until we know how Magnum Instincts performs, choose a testosterone supplement that’s guaranteed to work.
